I had intended to start video blogs today, but alas sickness has taken hold of my throat. I'd basically sound like a coughing muppet if I tried. So! Instead, I'll share with you a preview of the awesome musical project I was a part of last Winter. Enjoy!

With not a lot happening on the gig-front, I am happy to announce that Shank's Tavern has rescheduled their Girls Host Open Mic Night, with yours truly as a host, for November 15, 2011. Be sure to check out the Shows page for more details, and bring your instrument and join the fun!
In other news, Lorenguard is very close to releasing their album Eve of Corruption. Even if you're not into the Power-Metal genre, you should give it a listen when it comes out. I mean, how many metal bands ask quirky-folk singers to sing on their album? Probably not many.
Oh! And be sure to head over to the Photos and check out the new photos from the September Chameleon Club show. (Obviously, they are the ones marked as "New!") And yes, that is a back-up singer you'll see in several of them. I was joined by the lovely, Ms. Susie Lee that night. If you missed out, don't worry; she will be joining me in more shows and some upcoming video blogs.
That's all for now!

Due to all the flooding that is proposed to happen this weekend, the Open Mic Night at Shanks Tavern on Septmember 20th is cancelled. Shanks Tavern has unforunately been the victim of two other serious floods in the past century. The last flood left the Tavern with a recovery time of 5 months. I'm hoping that Shanks makes it through this flood with as little damage as possible.
If you live in any of the areas that are experiencing the effects of this crazy storm, please be careful! I like my fans and friends being alive and well!

Don’t be fooled! There were no obituaries for the Lancaster Folk-Singer because she is not dead! The pull of the awesome summer sunshine just happens to be a stronger pull than the computer sometimes. Sometimes. If you follow me on Facebook, you’ve known all along that I’m still alive.
So, now that I’m taking the time to update this after many many months, let me start with the awesome stuff first: Shows. If you head on over to the Shows Page you’ll see we’ve added some dates for September. Not as many as I (and I’m sure all of you) would like, but we are getting there. AND! Chameleon Club! Very excited for this show, as it has been a while time since the last show there.
For those of you who were able to make it out to the Lancaster Dispensing Company show last Friday, you have my sincerest thanks! It was a wonderful show with a wonderful turn-out. It’s so nice to see local, acoustic music being supported so well. Thanks so much to TONY KIRCHNER who set up this entire event. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for more Singer Songwriter Showcase events there.
If you live around Lancaster you’ve probably already seen this in the paper, but for those of you who don’t be sure to check out my interview with STEPHEN KOPFINGER from Lancaster Online and Lancaster Sunday News. The piece was featured right before the Millersville MU-42 Show on August 5th.
As I always say, sometimes it takes longer to get content up on the official site. Don't miss out, though! You can follow me on Facebook and (if you are patient - I don't tweet much) you can follow me on Twitter!

Unfortunately the rain kept people away last night, but that didn't stop us from putting on an awesome show. Thanks again to Andra Taylor and Andrea Nardello for a fun night of wonderfully written songs! You ladies are awesome. <3
Coming up this week is the LAUNCH Music Conference and Festival. Don't forget to check me out at the Lancaster Dispensing Company on Thursday, April 21. If you aren't busy on Friday, be sure to check out Andrea Nardello at Annie Bailey's. Check out the Shows Page for set times, and for a link to the LAUNCH Official Site.
Other exciting news! Tom Knapp (member of Fire in the Glen), of Rambles.NET just posted an exclusive interview with yours truly. Be sure to hop over to check out my interview, as well as other many other interesting and informative reviews.
Admittedly, sometimes it takes longer to get content up on the official site. Don't miss out, though! You can follow me on Facebook and Twitter!

First things first: Thanks to all the awesome friends and fans who came out to the Fergie's Pub show, and the Coffee Company show. It's always nice to have a familiar faces in the crowd. Thanks a bunch. Also! Special thanks to Andrea Nardello and Liat for joining me at Fergies. <3
Coming up on the calendar is what I like to call the Awesome Triple A Show at The Fire. You get a repeat of the acoustic female lineup that includes Andrea Nardello and Andra Taylor. Tickets are available
HERE.
The LAUNCH Music Conference is coming up this month, and is behing held in Lancaster. You can catch Lancaster's little songwriter at The Lancaster Dispensing Company on April 21, 2011, along with a number of other artists. For more details, check out Lancaster Dipensing Company on Facebook.
Other awesome news on the collaborative front: The Lorenguard ablum is almost at a close. Be sure to keep an eye out for the release towards later summer, and become a Lorenguard fan on Facebook! It only takes one click! (Don't be fooled by the bare bones page - It is under construction currently).
Stay in the loop! You can follow me on Facebook and Twitter!

I'm very excited!
If you check out the shows page you'll see that yours truly will be a part of the "Triple A" line up again. That's right! On April 16th I will be playing at The Fire with Andrea Nardello and Andra Taylor. I'm very psyched to be playing another show with these lovely and talented ladies!
In other fun news, the final decisions have been made to the website design. Thankfully, I don't have to be involved in the super complicated process of actually creating the site. (That is job for my wonderful, web-designing hubby.)
I've gotten in the habit lately of recording songs for the new website, and to give a little kick to my Youtube page. I managed to talk Robb into letting me get a video of our accoustic version of Kamelot's "The Haunting." If you're a Facebook fan, you've already seen this:

Oh my! It’s been a while since there has been an update.
It is going to be hard to top last year, but I think I’m off to a good start
The last week of January brought a week long vacation and recording session rolled into one. The Indiana based metal band Lorenguard is currently recording their second album with their new line-up (which includes my awesome husband <3 ), and kindly requested some female back up vocals on a few songs. I’m very excited to be heading back out with Robb at the end of February to do some more recording.
Additions to the shows page are happening slowly. There are a lot of festivals happening this year of which I’d like to be a part. As always, when the shows roll in, they’ll be posted.
New website design is still currently in production. I’m very excited at the changes that are going to be happening, and I'm sure that everyone else will like it, too.
Don't forget you can visit me on Facebook and Twitter!

Happy Holidays!
I've been meaning to get on here and make some posts recently, but it seems like November just kind of flew into December so quickly. I hope everyone out there had a fantastic Thanksgiving, and that Christmas and New Year's Even go smoothly. (I heard a rumor that there might be a white Christmas in Lancasterland. Not sure how I feel about that...)
I've add a few more dates to the shows section. I'll be playing at the Half Moon Restaurant and Fergie's Pub in march of 2011. For those of you in the Philly area who are on Winter break and need something to do next week, come out to the Grape Room on December 29th. The line-up includes: Dawnchaser, Soulcalist, Vent, Ashley Phillips, and yours truly. Don't miss out on it!
Good news about the CD: It is officially available on Amazon.com. Oh, and T-shirts are coming soon!

Hello all!
Thanks to everyone who came out to the Tin Angel show on October 30th! I had a blast, and it was wonderful to open for Andra Taylor and Andrea Nardello. If you haven’t checked out those ladies, you should; they are fantastic.
Ebb and Flow is officially for sale! We are still working out the kinks to have an official CD release party, but for now you can Order a physical copy online at CDBaby.com, or you can download the digital CD at Digstation.com.
Here soon the website will be changing. It's time to clear the cobwebs! Currently, it is under construction, but when it launches it will be awesome. I promise! There will be a merchandise page, and (this time around) an actual music player. Until then, head on over to my Facebook page to listen to full length samples of some of the songs.

No more MIA. I'm back!
Hello all! I just wanted to take this moment to give some updates on the CD, Ebb and Flow. As of this week, we are in the final stages of producing the CD. As of this afternoon, the CD's have one more stage of production to go through before they are packaged and mailed out to me. As long as everything is goes as planned Ebb and Flow will be available for the Tin Angel show this weekend, and quote possibly for the E-Town College show. Yay!
And since it seems I've avoided updating my site as though it were the plague, I will be performing with Andra Taylor Andrea Nardello on October 30th at the Tin Angel in Philadelphia. I think this is probably the first show for me that is made up of all female performers . So, don't miss out on the fun!
Oh yeah, and life on the married front is great. Now that all that crazy wedding stuff is done, I'm ready to get out and play more music. And, as always, don't forget to check out my Facebook page!

New shows and lots of snow...
Hello, hello, hello!
Hey Philly/Jersey/NY people! Just a reminder, I will be opening for HogMaw on February 27th at the Tin Angel in Philadelphia. Tickets are available through the Tin Angel website. If you live in Philly, come out. Bring a friend. Or three. It's going to be a fun time, so don't miss out!
There are also a few more dates on the calendar. For those of you who have kids, don't be around the bar scene, or just don't want to stay out super late, the Coffee Co and Crave shows are right up your alley. Both places have excellent food and awesome beverages. So, be sure to mark them on your calendar.
If you are anywhere near the snowy mess that is Pennsylvania, stay warm and be safe.

New shows, new shows, new shows...
Greetings and Happy Holidays! I figured it was time to dust off the keyboard and update the site. Instead of writing promises of a new CD (which is still in progress), I thought I would tell you about some new shows that are coming up!
Thanks to my awesome friend Matt, singer and guitarist of the band HogMaw, I have some new dates. I will be at Lizard Lounge opening for The Cultivators and HogMaw on Saturday January 9th, 2010. Tickets are $5 and yours truly has some. If you want tickets, just shoot me an email: amandawells.net@comcast.net. If you're busy that weekend, no sweat. I'm also playing the night before at the Coffee Company from 7-9pm. It's free, as always. Don't let the cost of the Saturday night tickets discourage you, though. $5 gets you three awesome bands. If you do the math, that's a pretty sweet deal.
For those of you in the Philly/Jersey/NY area, I will be opening for HogMaw on February 27th at the Tin Angel in Philadelphia. Tickets are pre-purchase and more info will come for this show. If you live in Philly, spread the word. We want to pack the place. Plus, this is my first show in the city of brotherly love.
Okay, okay, I know I said no promises about the new CD, but I do feel the need to update. Admittedly, things are going a little slower than I'd like, but part of that is due to planning a wedding. Mostly, the issue is trying to get all the other instruments settled, arranged, and recorded. It just takes time. If I can figure out how to do it without breaking my site, I might start doing some video blogging on the site, too. This way I can keep you posted with little teasers and snippets of new songs. Yeah... there might be new songs... The only way to really be sure is to come out to a show. ;p
I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas (or however you celebrate this time of year) and that you have a safe and happy New Year! Can't wait for 2010!
Oh yeah, and don't forget there is a Facebook page up now!

New dates for the Moon Dancer Winery! Check 'em out.
And don't forget to come out this Friday, September 18th, to Rachel's Creperie in Lancaster. Good food. Live Music. What more could you ask for on a Friday night?
August 28, 2009
Holy Crap! Talk about MIA... While there haven't been any messages up on the home page about what is happening, I can assure that I haven't been slacking off! I'm still in the studio, and with how things are going it looks like the album release date will be towards the end of the year. So, far we are seven songs into the project - two of which are very close to being done.
The MP3 player on the site is still a work in progress, but hopefully we will have some clips up soon, possibly including teaser sections of songs from the new album.
Shows are few and far between these days, but as soon as vacation is done for this little folksinger, I am going to work myself as hard as I can to get more shows lined up. So, keep an eye out on the shows page these next couple of months, and as always if you want to get on the mailing list, just head to the contacts page and shoot an email off.
On a more personal note, I would like to announce that as of last night I am engaged to Robb Graves, former singer of Winterfell, and current singer of Lorenguard. I can't lie; it's pretty awesome and I'm super happy. But! No worries; I will not get distracted (too much) by wedding planning that I don't get this CD out soon as possible.
So, that's all I have for you right now. Oh, and for those of you on Facebook; check me out!
December 8, 2008
If you've checked the site recently, you've probably noticed some cobwebs starting to form. This is the first welcoming update in, well, exactly four months, and the shows are very few. But! All hope is not lost. I recently started laying down some tracks for the new CD. So, while I will still try to keep my shows page with more than one date, I will also be trying to focus my time on moving foward with the new CD. Oh, and there is the nine-to-five in there somewhere, too.
Rachel’s Cafe & Creperie. Decemeber 19th. It will be a fun time. :)
Happy Holidays!
August 8, 2008
There have been a few cancellations of shows, but thankfully there are more that have been added, so go check them out on the shows page. The site is still slowly working it's way to completion, but with luck by the end of the year not only will the music page completed, but there *should* be a new CD, too... We'll see. :)
July 7, 2008
Music Page is finally up, sorry about the wait. Videos and Mp3s coming soon!
